Background of the issue:
I am trying to input the translations for custom links in the header/footer WordPress menus. The site is using the Hello Elementor theme, and all plugins and themes are up to date. The issue can be seen at: hidden link

Symptoms:
When translating link text to Q'eqchi', the front end displays a backslash in front of each apostrophe for text that is translated in String Translation and then synchronized. This issue only appears for text translated through String Translation.

Questions:
Why does a backslash appear in front of each apostrophe in the translated text?
How can I fix the apostrophe display issue in String Translation?

A workaround I found is, when entering the translations in String Translation, to use the HTML entity for an apostrophe ' instead of the character. When syncing the menus, it displays correctly.
