This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate the 'Table of Contents' title generated by Rank Math's TOC block on your multilingual WordPress site using WPML. Despite providing translations in WPML's String Translation and clearing all caches, the TOC title remains in English across all language versions of the site.
Solution:
We recommend following these steps to ensure the TOC title is translated correctly:
1. Go to WPML → String Translation.
2. Enable the option 'Look for strings while pages are rendered'.
3. Navigate to the page where untranslated strings are displayed.
4. Return to WPML → String Translation, disable the option, and verify if a new string has been registered.
5. Translate the string.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the 'Table of Contents' title generated by Rank Math's TOC block on our multilingual WordPress site using WPML. Our site supports English, French, and German. The goal is to have the title translated to 'Table des matières' for French and 'Inhaltsverzeichnis' for German. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
Despite providing translations in WPML's String Translation and clearing all caches, the TOC title remains in English across all language versions of the site.

Questions:
Are there additional steps or configurations within WPML or Rank Math that we might have overlooked to facilitate the translation of the TOC title?
Could there be compatibility issues between the versions of WPML and Rank Math we are using that affect string translation?
Is there a recommended approach to ensure that the TOC title dynamically displays in the correct language based on the site's current language setting?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Have you verified that the correct string has been translated in WPML → String Translation?

1. Go to WPML → String Translation.
2. Enable the option "Look for strings while pages are rendered".
3. Navigate to the page where untranslated strings are displayed.
4. Return to WPML >> String Translation, disable the option, and verify if a new string has been registered.
5. Translate the string.

Thank you for your feedback.

Please update your WPML plugin and add-ons to the latest version, 4.7.2, to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements. This may not necessarily resolve your problem; however, we need to work on the newest code available to troubleshoot the issue best.

You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/

If you do not see the updates, you might need to click the Check for updates button in the Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial tab.

Please remember to backup your database before you proceed.

Let me know if the issue persists after an update has been done.
