Background of the issue:
I’ve created a staging copy of my website using Siteground’s site tools. After successfully testing and publishing the changes to the live site, which replaced the previous instance.

Symptoms:
I’m now seeing the attached message on my WordPress dashboard. hidden link

Questions:
Could you please assist me with the WPML license issue after staging deployment? How should I proceed?

Hi there.

Sometimes, due to server settings or changes in the database (or extra data that remains in the database - for example old URLs from an old domain after s site migration where not all the old links were successfully replaced with the new domain), WPML can get confused.

Please create a full website backup and then select "NO - I changed the address of this site to this new one".

That should remove the notice from the top and things should still work normally.

I hope that you will find this information helpful.

Thanks Mihai, that seems to have solved the issue. The message is no longer showing and the correct domain appears in the account profile.
