This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
When I open the Advanced Translation Editor, it appears on a black background. If I click on a part of the text to make a modification, it jumps to a white screen with no text at all. For the moment, all I can do is read a text and accept it as-is without making any modifications, and click on Complete translation.

Solution:
This issue was related to the New ATE. Our translator was able to temporarily resolve it by choosing the "Use previous version of ATE".

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a document from English to French using the Advanced Translation Editor.

Symptoms:
When I open the Advanced Translation Editor, it appears on a black background. If I click on a part of the text to make a modification, it jumps to a white screen with no text at all. For the moment, all I can do is read a text and accept it as-is without making any modifications, and click on Complete translation.

Questions:
Why does the Advanced Translation Editor appear on a black background?
Why does the screen turn white with no text when I try to modify the translation?
How can I fix this issue to modify translations properly?

Please send a screenshot so I can better understand what is happening in the translation editor. Also, is this happening for every translator, or just for this one person? If only one person, check if it is happening in another browser.

Also, I have marked the next reply as private if you want to share credentials in the private fields of the next reply so that I can login and check the translation editor. Thanks!

Hi Lauren,
This issue was related to the New ATE. Our translator was able to temporarily resolve it by choosing the "Use previous version of ATE".

Is there an ETA on when we can expect updates to be deployed to fix the ongoing New ATE issues?
