Hello,

When going to hidden link I do see the same post that I also see on the backend when filtering for posts on PT and I checked here the latest 40 posts.

Maybe you could give me an example for some posts or specific translation jobs?

Best regards
Andreas

Andrea,

don't you remember the problem?
Of coure you see the posts but the last 3 are not translated, only the title is translated...

The automatic translation is working randomly and publish in english article that have to be translated in portughese.

Hi Luca,

I am sorry, that I missed this detail.

I further do not understand what is going wrong on the site, if I edit those posts on Elementor in English, and save the posts, the automatic translation kicks in and the posts appear as translated.

Any idea how I can recreate this issue?

Best regards
Andreas

Andreas, but you have already recreated it. You found the post automatically wrong traduced and just modifing it in elementor they are now correctly translated.

This is the problem! The automatic translation is not working until you don't modify posts in elementor. And this is happening random.

This is the issue I am expectiong you to solve.

This is somehow how it is supposed to work.

WPML will only expect an update of the translation if the original content gets edited and the automatic translation will run once you update the post.

Are you maybe importing those posts from a different site?

To recreate I need to know how to get back to a state where is post is not appearing as translated and I need to know exactly which steps you took.

Andreas, it is very easy:

1) WPML is set up to translate automatically an original post as soon as it is published
2) original posts are written by journalists and paginated with pictures then scheduled to be publish
3) when the original post is published some of them is translated while someone else is published without the translation (with the text in the original language)

As you can imagine I cannot recreate a state where the post is not appearing as translated but, every time I sent you one of these reply (with the screenshot) you have observed the case.

It is clearly a WPML bug

Hello Luca,

Is the user who is creating these posts enabled to use automatic translation?

See Translation Management > Tools in the bottom section for the option to enable users for automatic translation usage.

Hello Andreas,

I do not understand why the creator of the post should be autorizied to use automatic translation since the person is always the same and some posts are translated while others are not.

The person who insert all the posts is the user Silvia an Editor and, while she insert the post she also attribute the post (an article) to its author, the author of course change very often.

Anyway I have authorized Silvia for automatic translation.

Best regards

Luca

Hello Luca,

I am suggesting this, because if the person who edits and saves the post is not enabled for automatic translation then no automatic translation will occur inside the background.

Please give this a test and let me know if further assistance is needed.

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

Yes, if this will not solve the issue then please let me know and I will offer to create a copy of the site for further investigation.
