Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly.
I imagine that the message you copied here comes from WPML's Translation Editor. Only automatic AI translation consumes credits, which need to be bought. Adding translations manually is included with WPML and costs nothing extra.
Every time you add a new website to your account, it receives 2000 free credits, that sometimes are consumed when you open the Translation Editor for a given content. That's likely why you're seeing the notice you shared.
Hi
I want help setting up my translation, nothing should be translated automatically and I hope there is nothing wrong, can I invite you to my staging page so that you can do the settings for me, I don't understand anything at all and all I want is to translate the product texts that come via an API import from English to Swedish, nothing else, so it shouldn't cost me more than what I have already paid for the plugin
We’re unable to configure the site on your behalf, but we can certainly provide guidance to help you review and resolve the issue yourself.
You mentioned that you’re importing translations using the API. Could you share more details about how you’re doing this? Are both languages being imported through this method?
Additionally, you noted that the language content appears to be mixed. Is this issue still occurring? If so, could you provide a few example pages so we can review and test the behavior?
Further, To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.
So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. hidden link
