[Closed] Buddyboss keeps sending email in original language even though email templates are translated

Background of the issue:
I am trying to ensure that Buddyboss sends emails in the secondary Swedish language on my site hidden link. I have translated the email templates and switched the backend language to Swedish, but the emails are still sent in English.

Symptoms:
Buddyboss sends the original English language emails even though the email templates are translated to Swedish.

Questions:
Why are the translated email templates not being used by Buddyboss?
How can I ensure that emails are sent in the secondary Swedish language?

thanks for contacting us.

How are you sending and testing the mail? Does it work if you do it from fthe rontend and the user profile language is set to Swedish? Since email will be sent in the language depending on frontend language or user language set in backend of profile.

Hi!
I'm testing it using the mail log function in my SMTP plugin. Yes, both sending and receiving users are on the Swedish /sv/ part of the page.

Hello,

1) Do use it for testing logged in user or logged-out users?

Can you share with me link and steps to check it out?

2) Do you have a staging site to test with latest stable WPML versions, as I see you are using beta version of WPML plugins.

1. It's when users send eachother private messages or replies to forum posts etc. Only logged in users.

Hello,

thanks for getting back.

Before proceeding with access and check, can you please check and confirm next:

1) Are both user languages set to SW in their WordPress User profile?

2) Does the issue still happen when using only the WPML plugin and BuddyBoss plugin, all other disabled and when using BuddyBoss theme?

3) Does the issue still happen when using WPML latest stable versions not beta versions?
