This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing an issue where changes made in the default language (Italian) of your WordPress site using the Movedo theme are not synchronizing with the translated (English) version. Specifically, two buttons ('Book Now' and 'Gift Card') that were removed from the Italian version still appear in the English version.
Solution:
First, ensure that you have retranslated the page after making the changes in the default language. If the buttons still appear, the issue might be related to the theme's page options that control the button display. If the 'Button Text' field is empty, the button should automatically hide. However, since this involves a translated button, it might require manual removal.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Hi,
I'm experiencing a translation synchronization issue with WPML on my WordPress site using the Movedo theme.

On my homepage hero section, I removed two buttons ("Book Now" and "Gift Card") from the Italian version (default language), but they continue to appear on the English translated version. The buttons should be removed from both language versions.

The website urls are the following:
- Italian (default): hidden link
- English (translated): hidden link

Could you please help me understand why the English translation isn't syncing with these changes, or guide me on how to remove these elements from the translated version?

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Federico

Thanks for contacting us. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble displaying the correct layout on the translated English version of your site.

You mentioned that you removed two buttons (“Book Now” and “Gift Card”) from the Italian version, which is the default language. After making those changes, did you retranslate the page?

If the issue still persists after testing all available methods, please share temporary access (WP Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem can be replicated, if possible. This will allow me to investigate further and determine whether any configuration changes are needed.

Please make sure you have a full backup of the site before sharing access, to avoid any potential data loss. You may use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to create the backup.

Any information you share will be treated confidentially and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To troubleshoot the issue, I may need your permission to temporarily deactivate and reactivate plugins or the theme, as well as make configuration changes if necessary. This further highlights the importance of having a recent backup.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked this and it appears the theme uses a page option to control the button display. If the Button Text field is empty, the button is automatically hidden.

Since this is a translated button, I’ll need to remove it manually on your behalf at the link below:
