This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to move a multisite subdomain with translations to a new single domain and want to know if you can export and import WPML settings to another domain.
Solution:
We cannot export or import WPML settings directly. However, you can export and import translations. We recommend using tools like WP Import Export or WP ALL Import along with our addon, WPML Import Export. For more detailed guidance, please refer to our documentation on how to use these tools.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I try to move a multisite subdomain with translations to a new single domain with all the translations. I want to do this with the WPML Importer/Exporter and the WordPress Importer/Exporter. I thought the import would be easier if the new domain has already all settings set identical to the old subdomain.

Symptoms:
No specific issue or error message mentioned.

Questions:
Can all the WPML Settings be exported and imported to another domain?

Hello,

You can not import/export WPML settings, but you can export/import translations as explained in our docs using WP Import export or WP ALL Import, with our addon WPML Import export.

Regards,
Drazen

Thank you! (at least it is good to know, that it does not work - and I am not too dumb to find the right button 🙂 )
