[Resolved] Cannot add existing user as translator

This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

I am trying to add myself as a translator to a new subdomain on a multisite. The multisite is NYAA-Consulting.com and I am already listed as a translator on that website. The new subdomain is hidden link and I cannot add myself even though I am a user. When I enter my name, it searches, then returns a null response.

When I try to add myself as a new user, it tells me that I already exist.

Hi There,

on the site are you an administrator user?

if yes, you should be able to translate from and to all languages without the need to be added as a translator.

Hi Bobby,

I agree that it should be that way. I am super admin on the website. However, I did have waiting translations that kept asking for a translator.

I was able to remedy it today by using string translation. Looks like its working fine.
