Cannot register key. Have tried simple installer and manually installing plugin. WPML API server cant connect via the Support Check. Everything else is working. On WP Engine so shouldn't be a firewall problem as far as I know.

Everything but the WPML API shows as working.

Thank you - we did loop in WP Engine support and they weren't able to provide any info on a firewall or application errors. We did also try checking the API connection on a brand new blank site so plugins/themes shouldn't be a factor there.

Just checking in here - we've been able to successfully test this on other hosting - it seems like WPML is being blocked on WP Engine hosting - we tried with them to manually update the IP. We don't otherwise have a way to list by domain name. Other outbound requests are working, it is only api.wpml.org that is blocked - is this a known issue? WPML is also recommended by WP Engine documentation so a bit surprised this is such a headache to get past the basic initial setup.
