[Resolved] Cannot use elementor on translated pages
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is trying to edit translated pages with Elementor, but the page builder is not loading. Solution: 1. We identified that the issue is related to the client's theme. When switching to the Hello Elementor theme, the translated pages load correctly. 2. We provided a guide for troubleshooting Elementor loading issues: https://elementor.com/help/how-to-fix-the-preview-could-not-be-loaded-error/ 3. We advised the client to consult with their theme support team since the theme is not officially compatible with WPML, as per our compatibility list: https://wpml.org/theme/
If the solution provided is not relevant to your case, either because it's outdated or it doesn't apply to your situation, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please contact us in the WPML support forum.

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
1) Would you please elaborate more on the issue to help me understand it better?
It would be very helpful if you could share screenshots or a screen-recorded video while reproducing the issue.
2) It's unrelated to the issue, but according to your Debug.info, the WP memory limit needs to be increased. PHP memory is fine, but WordPress uses 40Mb as default. The minimum requirements for WPML are 128 MB. (Kindly check this page https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/)
You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file right before the /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:
Thanks for the video. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and Theme and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Thanks for the access details. The issue happens because of your theme. When changing the theme to Hello Elementor, the translated pages open correctly. Kindly check this page. (hidden link)
Please check this guide to learn more about the issue. (hidden link)
Kindly note that I kept Hello Elementor active for you to check.
It could be a compatibility issue, as your theme is not officially compatible with WPML. Please check our compatibility list here. (https://wpml.org/theme/)
