Hello,
I can't change my site language. I want to make it Bulgarian, and it's the default language in WPML.
But there is an inactive field showing it's English.

What to do?

Kind Regards!

Hi there.

Please take a look here:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/hi-my-default-site-language-in-wordpress-settings-shows-english-us/#post-11192591

In this ticket, is explained why this is happening. Practically, while WPML is enabled, that dropdown is stuck and can't be used.

The site language on your site seems to be set correctly already.

While you are in the backend of your site, you can at the top right corner of the screen, hover over your user and select "edit" to edit your user profile.

On that page, you should find the option to change your **website's backend language** if that's what you want. This will affect the backend panel language.

For the front-end area, you are good already. I checked the site now.

I hope that you will find this information helpful. 🙂
