This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to translate the header and footer of a Divi theme using WPML, but despite translating the content, the header and footer still display in the original language (English).
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to ensure the header and footer are translated correctly:
1. Navigate to WPML → Settings → Post Type Translations and verify that the header and footer are set to be translatable.
2. Go to WPML → Translation Management, select the header and footer, and send them for translation.
3. Finally, translate the header and footer under WPML → Translations.
It's important to note that translating content directly from string translations will not effectively translate the Divi header/footer.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the header and footer from Divi using WPML. The site is currently under development.

Symptoms:
Even though everything has been translated, the website still displays the footer and header in the original language (EN).

Questions:
Why is the header and footer not displaying in the translated language?
How can I ensure the header and footer are translated correctly using WPML?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to WPML support. I’d be glad to assist you with this issue.

Could you please navigate to **WPML → Settings → Post Type Translations** and share screenshots with me?

Additionally, please check under **WPML → Translation Management** to ensure that the header and footer are fully translated.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards

Hello,

You 'll find the asked screenshots in attachement.
All the content of the header and footer have been translated via the string translation but they do not appear in front.
We have published the website. It is now accessible via hidden link
Pay attention, there are templates for the header & footer that we have imported from another website. You can find them in the Divi Library. These are not the header & footer on the front that I would like to translate.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Dimitri

Hello there,

You should translate the divi header/footer by following the below steps:
- Go to WPML->Translation management
- Select the header/footer and send it for translations
- Go to WPML->Translations and translate it.

Content translated directly from string translations will not work for it.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks

Great! Thanks for your support.
In my opinion, the way to translate the Divi header and footer is not very obvious.
I'll keep this ticket for future use.
