I'm trying to translate my DIVI Page Templates but when I click on them inside the WPML Translation Manager my browser tells me it can't find the page.
I'm currently working on a copy of my main page. I enabled the Template (et_template) in the WPML Settings.
2) It's unrelated to the issue, but according to your Debug.info, the WP memory limit needs to be increased. PHP memory is fine, but WordPress uses 40Mb as default. The minimum requirements for WPML are 128 MB. (Kindly check this page https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/)
You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file right before the /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:
I have found my default templates under the links that you have suggested. What I want to translate is the template called "Alle Teams". Its a template for a custom post type called "Teams". I have found the template in the translation management but when i click on edit my browser tells me it can find the page.
I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your following answer will be private, which means only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
when I click on the translation edit gear. I can access the translation manager. But the template appears empty. There are words and titles missing that I would like to translate.
I'm not sure why the strings don't appear in the translation editor, but as a workaround, please translate this template manually by switching the language using the top admin bar. (hidden link)
Best regards,
Osama
