Hi Lauren, I have set up a new staging website. Here I have enabled 'different languages in directories'. Now the problem is solved. So I think it is indeed with caused by lanuage per domain. Here you can see the staging website hidden link

Thanks for testing that for me! I'm going to set up a test site in our cloudways server with different domains, and if I can reproduce it there i'll escalate to our developers. I'll update here as soon as I have more information.

Unfortunately I'm having trouble setting up different domains per language in our cloudways site, so I haven't been able to confirm that the issue is caused by the domains. I need to be able to prove that so that I can escalate this issue to our developers. While I continue trying that, have you tried the different settings for passing session arguments in WPML -> Langauges in the URL format section?

Hi Lauren, that is unfortunate. I have tried changing the URL format, this has no effect on the problem.

Please see my previous private reply. I have set up a new site for migration it seems the previous one somehow got corrupted. Please let me know when this is complete. If this one doesn't work either, then you can create a copy of your site using a Duplicator plugin and I can deploy it locally for further testing.

After lots of troubleshooting, I think I finally found a really simple solution. Go to WPML -> Languages and in the Make themes work multilingual section, check the box to "Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality".
After I did this on the staging site, I can see both translations. Please let me know the results.

Hi Lauren, thank you for time and effort. This solution seems to have done the trick! I switched this option off because another employee of WPML suggested it. The reason of that were some perfomance issues. Thank you for your help, have a nice day!
