change homepage for editing in different language

jakaA	Background of the issue: I am trying to switch between English and Slovenian homepages using WPML on my site hidden link. It is impossible for me to switch between the two languages for editing. Symptoms: Sometimes it opens the Slovenian homepage and other times the English homepage when I go to pages in WP. Questions: What can I do to consistently switch between English and Slovenian homepages for editing?

Noman WPML Supporter since 06/2016 Languages: English (English ) Timezone: Asia/Karachi (GMT+05:00)	Hi, Thank you for contacting WPML Support. Could you please try to follow the below steps and let me know how it goes: 1. Please go to the Pages >> All Pages page. 2. Choose the default English language using the admin language switcher as you can see in the attached screenshot. 3. Click on the Edit home page link and it will open the home page in Edit mode in English language. 4. To open the translated page, you can click on the languages icon and it will open up the homepage in Edit mode and you can update the translation. Please let me know if this resolves the issue or if you need further assistance with this issue. Thank you

jakaA	Hello, Thank you for your reply. The thing is i do not see homepage in the table of all pages (classic WP view). I only see it in the Default view (new redesign of pages view). When i click edit on homepage there i do not have a possibility to click the languages icon there. i have it only on other pages. maybe it is important to know that i have used template to make a homepage.

Can you please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can take a closer look at this issue. I’ve enabled a private input box for your next reply. === Please backup your database and website === ✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. ✙ Please provide me the template links which you have used on home page. Thank you

jakaA	Hello, Lets do it then. In the attachment I am sending you 3 photos of pages overview. My homepage can only be seen in Pages Dafault Overview(photo Pages Defaut) and I can not switch languages there. On Pages Clasic Overview (photo Pages clasic) I could not see Homepage page. But i can choose to change other pages languages there. I can also change language at Page language on the right side (photo Page language), but can not do it for Homepage. Could you please help me how to switch between languages on Homepage. Additional question is why in the Navigation menu on the top when i am changing language of home page it always shows me english version of Contact page even though I have Contact page translated in Slovenian language. Looking forward to your answer. Thank you.
