This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed to display a different ClickUp form on the French version of an 'Information request' page, but changing the code on the French page also changed it on the English one.

Solution:
We recommended the following steps:
1. Go to the 'Pages' section in the default language.
2. Locate the 'Information request' page.
3. Click the pencil icon to edit the French translation.
4. In the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE), search for "http".
5. Translate the relevant external link by adding the different link intended for the French translated page.
6. Complete the translation.
For more details about translating URLs in ATE, we provided a documentation link: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/#how-do-i-translate-urls-with-the-advanced-translation-editor

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

Can you please confirm that if the said form is itself translated into other languages?

Please also provide the debug information of your website for an overview of your setup. See https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/ for more information.

I've enabled the debug information section for your next reply.

Additionally you can also take a look at https://wpml.org/faq/checklist-before-opening-a-ticket-in-wpml-support/ and cross-check for a few initial fixes.

See https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/ for details on privacy and security.

I need to take a closer look at your site. So I request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP), preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your next answer will be private, to share this information safely.

Also provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue and links to pages in admin and on frontend.

IMPORTANT: Please take a complete backup of the site to avoid data loss. I may need to activate/deactivate plugins also.

See https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/ for details on privacy and security.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

I checked the page "Information request" and while updating the French translation, I noticed that the link to that ClickUp form hasn't been translated.

It is normal because external links are not translated automatically. But you can always search for these in the translation editor, by typing "http" in the search box - see attached screenshot.

I'll recommend the following steps:

- Go to Pages in default language.
- Find the said page.
- Click the pencil icon to edit the French translation.
- In ATE, search for "http".
- Translate the relevant external link, for example, add a different link you want for French translated page.
- Complete the translation.
