Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link I expect to get a preview of files in the cart uploaded via the WooCommerce Upload Files plugin (hidden link) as in checkout (in checkout, I see a preview of the uploaded files, in the cart there is no preview even though there should be one) When I deactivate WPML String Translation, the preview works again in the cart (hidden link, here withouth preview: hidden link). So what can I do to resolve the conflict? Thx, Frank |

Hello There, Please be informed that I haven’t seen any compatibility information about the plugin that you’re using to upload files. Therefore, the issue you’re having could be a compatibility issue. However, as you have stated that the issue is occurring only when the String translation plugin is enabled, my guess is that some strings or text, that are responsible for handling the attachments, are getting registered for translation. That is why, the uploaded file does not appear in the cart page. Could you please go to “WPML > String Translation” and check which element of the WooCommerce Upload files plugin is registered for translation? You can also check by removing the strings that belong to WCUF plugin from String Translation. If that doesn't solve the issue, please try to reproduce the same issue in our Sandbox site mentioned below. - hidden link You'll be taken to our sandbox site when you clicked on the link. The WPML and other essential plugins are already installed there. Please install the plugin with which you're having the issue, complete the setup, and try to reproduce the issue. The purpose of a sandbox site is to check what happens in a minimal environment and if server configuration has any kind of influence on the issue. I hope you can understand. Please try and let me know the update. I will be happy to help. Best Regards, |

Thank you, I've removed all the strings from that plugin / domain via "...removing untranslated strings by domain." However, I noticed that the feature doesn't remove all translations after checking and deleting translations from the respective domains. The image preview in the cart still didn't show up - then I reseted WPML in the support - trouble shooting page. After that, the preview appeared. How can I make sure that really all translations from a plugin will be removed? Thanks, Frank |

Hi Frank. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I was not available during the weekend which caused the delay. I will make sure to send the responses in a timely manner from now. Thanks for your understanding. I'm glad to hear that resetting WPML has resolved the issue. It's possible that the translation preference for the upload field was set to "Translate" or another option, which may have been causing the problem. As you've done the reset, the translation preference for all the fields is back to the default and as a result, the issue got fixed. Please locate the name of the upload field and keep the translation preference of that field as it is. However, In order to understand the process of removing the translations follow the steps mentioned in the documentation below. - https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/#deleting-strings I hope it will help. If there is anything else if you need help, please let me know. I will be happy to assist you. Best Regards, |
