clfM

Background of the issue:
We are currently experiencing an issue with internal links used in the context on the pages not updating correctly across different language versions on our WordPress site using WPML. The website is built on the ACF plugin, and there are many links in the copy of the site which are set in the wysiwyg editor of ACF plugin fields. Our site is set up with subdirectories for language versions. The USA version is the default en version of the site where we want to have all the content duplicated into the other language versions from. The UK version is set as /en-uk/, Australian /en-au/, Canadian French /fr-ca/. When we duplicate pages for different versions, all contextual links still point to the USA version. We need these links set in the wysiwyg editor ACF fields to get automatically adjusted according to the respective language version when creating pages duplicates. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
Contextual links do not get automatically adjusted according to the respective language version when creating pages duplicates. They stay the same as the default language where the page was duplicated from.

Questions:
Could you please advise on a more effective solution or provide guidance on how to configure WPML to handle this issue automatically?
