Hi,

We trying to install WPML but we are facing a critical error conflict. We know the documentation and this is not the first time we use WPML. But in 4 years this is the first error we face in this way. We're sending the website URL and login credentials for reference.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

1. It seems you are trying to install the WPML plugin for the first time on this site and do not have any translated data by WPML, right?

2. Can you please send the error details here that you are seeing upon plugin activation?

3. If it just shows the critical error without the error details then please enable error reporting on your site as I need to see the details of the latest error log to better understand the cause of the issue. To enable it, open your ‘wp-config.php’ file and look for ‘define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);’. Change it to:

// Enable WP_DEBUG mode
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

// Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

// Disable display of errors and warnings
define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
@ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );

define( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true );

After adding the above code, please try to activate/install the WPML plugins again, and if this creates a debug.log file in your site's wp-content directory. Please send me its contents.

Thank you
