[Resolved] Critical error on translating Elementor popup

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was attempting to translate an Elementor popup template into French but encountered a critical error when clicking the plus sign next to French.

Solution:
We recommend taking the following steps after ensuring you have a backup of your site:
1. Go to WPML → Support → Troubleshooting.
2. Click on the buttons in this order:
• Clear the cache in WPML
• Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
• Fix element_type collation
• Set language information
• Fix post type assignment for translations

If the issue persists, deactivate all plugins except for WPML to check for a conflict with another plugin. Additionally, try creating and translating a new popup to determine if the problem is specific to the post type or a general issue.

Please note that the solution provided might be outdated or not applicable to your case. If the problem continues, we highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If none of these steps resolve the issue, please open a new support ticket with us.

I am trying to: translate a popup Elementor template to French by clicking in the plus sign next to French (image attached).

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: Templates > Popups and then edit the original popup in Spanish.

I expected to see: editor for new translation in French.

Instead, I got: critical error (image attached).

1. Navigate to WPML → Support → Troubleshooting.
2. Click on the following buttons in this order:
• "Clear the cache in WPML"
• "Remove ghost entries from the translation tables"
• "Fix element_type collation"
• "Set language information"
• "Fix post type assignment for translations"

If the problem continues, try deactivating all plugins except for WPML to check if there is a conflict with another plugin.

Finally, does the same error occur if you create a new pop-up and translate it? this will let us verify if the issue is related to this post type or if it is a general issue.
