The update causes a critical failure, which causes the site to be unavailable.
I the root of the site, a file that points to a wordpress update is created. This has nothing to do with any actual wordpress update though, the site is on the latest wordpress version.
This has happened on several sites so I'm sure the problem is known?
On some sites I could solve the problem, although it was very complicated.
On this site I cannot solve the problem, I had to revert to a backup, and am now stuck with an outdated WPML plugin.
I used the provided packages and updated the plugins to the latest version, but I am unable to reproduce any failure, can you check this video once and see if I am looking at correct place? hidden link
Thank you for confirming the steps. To assist you further, I’ll need access to your site with permission to update or disable plugins and themes. I recommend creating a staging site so we can safely investigate the root cause of the issue.
I look forward to your response.
Thank you.
