This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client wanted to change the default language of their website to Dutch, but this also changed the WordPress dashboard language to Dutch. The client was looking for a way to keep the WordPress dashboard language in English while having the default website language as Dutch.
Solution:
We recommended the client to change the backend language by navigating to Users > Profile > Language and selecting English. This action allows the user's admin interface to be in English, while the main language of the site remains Dutch.
