Thank you for contacting WPML Support, I will gladly help you.
The easiest way to delete WPML tables from your database is with WPML activated.
- Activate WPML (if not activated already)
- Go to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting (link), scroll down to the end of the page
- There is a section "Reset", The 'Reset' action will deactivate the WPML plugin after it deletes the WPML tables (tables with the 'icl_' prefix) from the database.
- Check the box "I am about to reset all translation and language data"
- Click "Reset and deactivate WPML"
- Then you can remove the plugin
* If you prefer to do it manually, look in your database for tables with the 'icl_' prefix, such as wp_icl_flags, wp_icl_languages, wp_icl_translate, etc. (Note that your tables might not start with wp_ but something else.)
Then go to the wp_options table and remove all option keys that have the following strings as part of their name: site-press, wpml, icl.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Kind regards,
Marsel
