Background of the issue:
I am trying to set up WPML on my site hidden link. During the Setup Wizard, I mistakenly set the site language to English instead of French. I want to translate from French to English. I deleted all WPML related plugins, manually removed tables starting with 'wp_icl_' in the database, and tried unregistering and re-registering WPML. However, I can't restart the Setup Wizard from scratch.

Symptoms:
The Setup Wizard does not reset, and languages are not visible, indicating something is wrong.
We have detected a problem with some tables in the database. Please contact WPML support to get this fixed.

Table 'u954289599_OsJun.wp_icl_strings' doesn't exist
Array

[language] => fr
[context] => admin_texts_wpseo_titles
[gettext_context] =>

[value] => %%sitename%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitedesc%%
[status] => 0
[translation_priority] => optional
[allow_empty_value] => 1

Questions:
How can I completely reset WPML to start the Setup Wizard from scratch?
Why are the languages not visible after attempting to reset WPML?

Kor

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps and try to help with the issue quickly.

Please take a look here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/deleting-languages-and-plugin-data-by-doing-a-wpml-reset-on-your-site/

That should guide you through all the steps that need to be followed to remove WPML + the saved settings and translations properly.

I hope that you will find this information helpful.

Hi Kor,
I Deleted my website and Database and Created a new one with my Hosting, so I was able to Start the Wizard again and do it correctly this time, but I will try this Solution if this happens to me again. Thank you!
