This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is using WPML with ACF Pro for their websites. They encountered an issue where adding a new 'module' in a group of ACF fields with flexible content reflects on the translated version of the page, maintaining the same layout structure but causing content mismatch. The content keeps its original key order, but the addition of a new layout disrupts the matching of original content.
Solution:
We suggested the client recreate the issue in a clean testing environment that we set up, which only includes WPML and ACF. This step is crucial to determine if the problem is related to WPML or other factors such as server settings or conflicts with other plugins or themes. If the issue does not replicate in the testing environment, it likely points to external factors on the client's original site. We provided the client with an automatic login URL to access the testing environment. If the problem persists, or if this solution becomes irrelevant due to updates or different configurations, we recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Additionally, if further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket or contact us through the WPML support forum.

Hi, i am using WPML in association with ACF Pro on my websites. I have recently encountered a big problem on one of them, and after checking many many things I eliminated a lot of sources and thinks it can maybe come from a WPML update or something since it happens on other websites that didn't before and haven't been touched for long. Here's my problem, I have a group of fields acf with a flexible content that contains layouts named 'modules' for construction of my page (text, image, gallery, socials, ...), on a page i add a few of them, and translate/duplicate into another language my page and set translation separately. Now when I add a new 'module' it reflects on the other language, so we have the same structure order of my layouts BUT the content is messed up, it seems like content keep its original key order but with the addition of a new layout that changes the order everything is now not matching its orginal content. Can you have an answer to that problem please ?

Hi there.

You can get back to me here when the issue is replicated so that I can check and further escalate.

Thank you!

Mihai

Hi again, it's okay i've installed acf pro, imported a group field and tested the same way. The problem isn't happening... could it be a conflict with another plugin or linked to the versions used on your sandbox ?

Hi there.

Yes, if the issue isn't happening on our testing environment, then the issue might be actually related to the server settings (where the site is currently hosted) or it might be related to (at least one of) the active plugins (or the active theme).
