Tell us what you are trying to do? — We are hoping there might be a way for WPML to check/detect the visitor's browser language for a single page/URL on our website and not check globally where it checks/redirects for every first-time visitor on very page.
Unfortunately, this would require custom work and that falls out of the purpose of our Support Policy.
When you enable that feature, it will only work globally, all over the website.
It is very rare that someone would want to do that on only one specific page from the situation that we met until now but I can definitely understand that someone might do this for specific reasons.
Yes, I can see how it would not be a highly-desired or requested feature!
QUESTION: Do you think (from your experience with WPML and knowledge of the code) that a customization like this would even be possible, say, if we reached out to Codeable, Upwork, or other WordPress experts for help, or would it likely almost be impossible unless already activated globally?
I ask because your experience might save us some time and dollars on attempting to make it happen, ha.
For the right developer that knows what he is doing, this is definitely possible and I don't see it as something that you won't be able to accomplish through custom code.
If this is important for you, then I guess it needs to happen and there's no way around it 🙂
