This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to change the logo image using WPML's String Translation but encounters a message stating 'Text Registered and locked' when attempting to translate the logo ID.
Solution:
If you're experiencing a similar issue where the logo text is 'Registered and locked', it indicates that the string is already implemented in an XML file provided by the theme. These strings are typically available for translation directly in WPML > String Translation. Alternatively, you can search for the complete URL of the logo image and attempt to add the link for the translated image. If these steps do not resolve the issue, we recommend creating a full website backup. After backing up, you can provide us with access credentials in a secure manner, along with a screenshot of the string in question, so we can assist further.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I'm trying to change the logo image following these steps: 1- Go to WPML-> String Translation 2- Scroll down and click on the 'Translate texts in admin screens »' link 3- Search for the default language Logo ID 4- Select the strings 5- Click on the 'Add to String Translation' button 6- Then click on '« Return to String Translation' link 7- Translate the default logo ID with the translated logo ID 8- Clear the cache, and check the front end. The site I need help with is hidden link.

Symptoms:
When I found the logo in the String Translation, it appears this message: 'Text Registered and locked'.

Questions:
Can you please help with the 'Text Registered and locked' message in String Translation?

Hi there.

Please be aware that there's a chance also where you could translate the logo by searching for the logo image name so that you can find the complete URL of the logo and then try to add the link for the translated image.

In regards to your question, locked strings usually means that they have been already implemented in an XML file that come with the theme and usually those strings already show up in WPML > String Translation and are available for translation.

In case the option I mentioned above is not working (finding the complete logo link to "translate it"), you can create a full website backup, and then share the credentials in the private fields I enabled below + share a screenshot of the string in question so that I can find it quicker.

That's awesome! I just search for the logo file name and it was so easy, thank you so much!
