Hello,
My name is Adam, I'm a web developer and I'm building a website for a client (our mutual client).
I want to introduce different versions of the logo depending on the language version of the website and I have a problem with it.
My website is at hidden link - this is the development version. I'm using Elementor PRO with the default Hello theme.
I installed WPML Media Translation and pointed to the logo to be translated (screenshot) but it didn't help.
I used "Scan now and adjust links" but I got a message that there were no links to change (screenshot).
Also "Automatic registration of expressions for translation" did not indicate untranslated links.
Please help me solve the problem.
Thank you for contacting WPML Support. The logo is usually added from Customizer/theme options and you should be able to translate it by following the below steps:
1. Go to WPML >> String Translation page.
2. Scroll down and click on the Translate texts in admin screens » link at the bottom of the page.
3. Search for the site_logo as you can see in the attached screenshot.
4. Select the string.
5. Click on the Add to String Translation button.
6. Then click on "« Return to String Translation" link
7. Add the translated logo ID as translation, you may get the logo ID from Media >> Library by selecting the image as you can see in the attached screenshot.
Hello, thank you for the quick answer - I followed the instructions and it works. I didn't know what to enter in the translation of this string.
Thank you for your help.
Regards
Adam
