This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is trying to disconnect a Spanish translation from the default English language post and is unable to do so. The client followed the documentation but couldn't find the option mentioned in step 2.
Solution:
We recommend updating the WPML plugin to the latest version, as the client might be experiencing a known issue with the version they are using. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Ensure you have a full backup of your website.
2. Navigate to the WordPress Dashboard, go to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial tab.
3. If the update to WPML 4.6.8 is not visible, click on the 'check for updates' button.
4. Proceed with the update.
This should resolve the issue with disconnecting translations as documented in the errata page: WPML 4.6.7 issue with disconnecting translations.
If this solution doesn't look relevant, please open a new support ticket.
