This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to disconnect a Spanish translation from the default English language post and is unable to do so. The client followed the documentation but couldn't find the option mentioned in step 2.
Solution:
We recommend updating the WPML plugin to the latest version, as the client might be experiencing a known issue with the version they are using. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Ensure you have a full backup of your website.
2. Navigate to the WordPress Dashboard, go to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial tab.
3. If the update to WPML 4.6.8 is not visible, click on the 'check for updates' button.
4. Proceed with the update.
This should resolve the issue with disconnecting translations as documented in the errata page: WPML 4.6.7 issue with disconnecting translations.

If this solution doesn't look relevant, please open a new support ticket.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I'm trying to disconnect a spanish translation from my default (english) language post and it doesn't work.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I found this: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-disconnect-translations-from-the-default-language-page-or-post/ but I can't do the step 2 because I don't have the option. Maybe the support page is not up to date?

Is there a similar example that we can see?
You can see what I see in wp backoffice on the screenshots attached

What is the link to your site?
I want to disconnect this post : hidden link from this default english version post: hidden link

Hi there,

Thanks for your contact!

The documentation you linked is still valid. What might be happening is that you're using the 4.6.7 version of WPML, and thiss had the issue with disconnecting translations: https://wpml.org/errata/wpml-4-6-7-issue-with-disconnecting-translations/

By updating to 4.6.8 it should be solved. Could you please give it a try? Just make sure to have a backup, then go to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial tab, and do the update there (if it is not appearing, click on the 'check for updates' button).

Looking forward to your reply. Thank you.

Kind regards,
Mateus.
