Problem:
The client reported that when their site is in Finnish, and they open one of their products, it doesn't show a dropdown menu to select the English language.
Solution:
We first confirmed that the language dropdown was available on the category archive page but not on the specific product category page the client mentioned. We then asked the client to confirm if the problematic URL was indeed referring to a different section that had its English version available, as this could be the reason why the dropdown was not appearing. We also requested the client to provide the English URL for the problematic page if available, as English was their default language.
If the solution provided here is not relevant to your case, either because it's outdated or not applicable, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at WPML known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
