This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where WPML requires content to be translated twice, leading to excessive usage of translation credits.
Solution:
1. We could not verify the issue based on the provided video and messages. If the problem persists, please send another video with detailed steps showing how the content is created before being exported and where the duplicated segment appears in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE).
2. A temporary workaround involves opening the post with duplicated elements in Elementor, making a small change, and saving it. This action should remove any duplicated occurrences.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Hey there,

Two things:

1. I couldn't verify the issue on the video and on the messages you sent. Is the initial issue still happening, where segments show twice inside the translation editor?

I'm asking that because I couldn't find duplicated segments on your last video (it's tricky to find it in a video, with no description or hints), and also because you said "So I couldn't reproduce the issue but found another one..."

If you're still having the issue, or a similar one, please send me another video with more details. In the video, please show how the content is created before being exported, show exactly where the duplicated segment is appearing in ATE. I apologize for the back and forth, but we need to be able to reproduce the issue in detail, so we can check it. We've tried in multiple ways to reproduce based on what you said, but couldn't.

2. The workaround is to open the post that contains duplicated elements with Elementor, make a small change and save. That removes any duplicated occurrences.

Hi Lucas,

the workaround worked, just a change and save in Elementor was enough.
All that for this...😕
Would it be possible to get extra credit for the 3 posts I used double credit for ?

Furthermore, I need a piece of advice on another topic : switching from site under development to online, taking into account as the online site will be on another domain name.
I did try to open a ticket for that, but as it falls under advice without any misfunctioning of WPML, I only received blog post suggestions from the bot, that weren't relevant.

How could I get hold of the support team for this question ?

Hey there,

I was actually trying to find a way to prevent that from happening at all, but we couldn't. That's why it was taking more time than usual. But yes, every time you import content, if you open on Elementor and save, the duplicates are removed and that solves the issue. I made a 50k deposit on your account, please confirm.

Regarding your other question, I've created a new ticket to address that:

I'll answer you directly there.
