This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are using a template in Elementor with ACF fields, similar to a product page for multiple products. Your site has several versions like international, en-au, en-us, en-hk, ko-kr, etc., and you duplicate these sites instead of translating them. However, when duplicating the international template, the links in localized versions (e.g., en-au, en-us) point back to the international site instead of the relevant geo pages.
Solution:
This issue occurs because duplication does not automatically adjust links to point to the corresponding language content; it simply copies the content as is. To fix the links to point to their corresponding language content after duplicating, follow these steps:
1. Go to WPML -> Settings.
2. Click on Translate Link Targets.
3. Click on "Scan now and adjust links".
We recommend taking a backup of your site and database before trying this for the first time.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
