Background of the issue:
I have added a new user with Editor role and added it as a Translation manager in the WPML settings. But I'm not able to edit translations.

Symptoms:
Editor role user with translation manager rights cannot edit translation

Questions:
How to fix that?
Thanks!

Hello,

A Editor who is assigned as Translation Manager is able to create jobs at WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard and access them at WPML > Translations for translation.

Only Admin users are allowed to edit translations on the backend. The user might need to capability manage_options to be able to edit translations on the backend, but this would further allow access to any other options in WordPress.

Best regards
Andreas

It would be great idea to somehow allow users who create a content also translate their own content in some easy way.

If I missed this ability - please let me know how can I do that without adding each user as a translator and add all translation directions for each user. It is not very comfortable.

Thank you!
