This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing an issue where select fields created with the Elementor Pro form widget and translated using the WPML 'classic editor' are not rendering correctly. Instead of displaying each option on a separate row, all options appear in a single row separated by '', making it impossible to select a specific option.
Solution:
We recommend updating to the latest version of the WPML plugin where this issue has been addressed. If after updating, the problem persists, or if this solution does not apply to your case because it might be outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.

Ok, I understand but PLEASE keep me updated.

I have LOTS of website made with Elementor and WPML, and I simply can't enable the new editor or manually translate ALL of them: that's NOT a solution, because I can't waste my time fixing all my websites just because your plugin (which is a PAID plugin and I have been paying for it for years) has stopped working properly.

So, please keep me updated.

Hi, I have notice you have released WPML 4.7.6, and this last version is described as "a patch version focused on Elementor-related fixes".

Does this last version fixes my issue also?
Thanks

Thanks

Sorry to bump, any news about this issue?
Can you at least tell me if the developers are working on it?

Another question: since the issue is "Reported for WPML Multilingual CMS 4.7.2", can I safely update to WPML Multilingual CMS 4.7.1 without running into this problem?

Thanks

Hi, I'm really sorry to bump again but you have to understand that I can't update WPML to the latest version if this bug is not fixed. And I'm not updating WPML on many website since 2 months, and you can understand that's not the best thing to do.

So, PLEASE, tell your developers to work on this bug and solve it once and for all, I have been waiting for months for this problem to be resolved. Or should I assume that you are not interested in fixing this bug?

Hello there,

The developers are still working on the issue. They’re currently in the testing phase, but if everything goes smoothly, the fix should be ready for the next release.

I will update you here as soon as I will receive further feedback from the development team.

Thanks

Hello there,

We can't provide ETA for release as it depends upon various factors, the best I can do is update here when the release will be released.

Thanks

Hi, I understand but it's been three months since I opened the thread to report the problem... Is it really not possible to have an approximate timeline for the release of the fix? I need to know because I currently have websites that I can't update due to this bug.

Seriously, PLEASE try to give me a more precise time frame... one month? Two months? Is it possible that there is no way of knowing? Is this how you treat customers who have been with you for years?

Honestly, not happy πŸ™
