This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client's Elementor header and footer disappeared, potentially due to a conflict with a caching plugin.
Solution:
We found that the issue might be related to 'drop-in' plugins on the client's server. We recommend the following steps to resolve the problem:
1. Navigate to the WordPress Dashboard > Plugins.
2. Use the top filter to select "Drop-ins".
3. Deactivate the 'drop-in' plugins, especially the object cache one.
4. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Elementor Header & Footer Builder.
5. Make a change to the French header, such as updating the title, and save the changes.
6. Ensure that the translation is 100% complete.
7. Check if the issue is resolved.

If this solution does not apply to your situation, or if it's outdated, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should the problem persist, please open a new support ticket with us.

Hi there,

The copy was done successfully and upon checking I saw it works with no issues there.

Here is the link that you can access using the same credentials of your website:

hidden link

This led me to search for differences between the servers and I found out there are there drop in plugins available on your server that might be the problem cause.

Go to your website and go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins and from the top filter select "Drop-ins". (Check screenshot)

What I think might be the issue is the object cache one, but please test by the steps below:

- Deactivate those plugins.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Elementor Header & Footer Builder.
- Do a change on French header (change the title) and save
- Go to the translation and make sure it is 100% complete.
- See if it fixes the issue.

Thanks.

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for the reply.

I worked through your solution and that seems to have solved the problem thank you. I will have to look for another caching plugin that doesn't cause this issue.

Many thanks!
