Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate an Elementor image carousel from English to Dutch using WPML. The main language is English, and I have set up a large Elementor site with multiple elements and image-carousel elements. The English homepage carousel has 5 items, and I want the Dutch translation to display the same images in the same order. Links to the pages: hidden link vs hidden link.
Symptoms:
After translating the carousel to Dutch, the first image in the carousel is always the wrong translation. This issue occurs on all Elementor-image widgets on a large Elementor page, but it works correctly when the widget is isolated on a single page.
Questions:
Why is the first image in the translated carousel incorrect?
How can I ensure the translated carousel displays the same images in the same order as the English version?
