This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Client is trying to translate a field label from "Post Info Widget" (by Elementor), which isn't being displayed in String Translation and also not available in translation editor (Classic Translation Editor).

Solution:
Client found the solution by simply switching to the secondary language and edit the translation directly.

Background of the issue:
I have created a template for article pages in Elementor. In this template, I have entered the author and publication date information via the 'post info widget' which also allows me to enter text before the various properties using the appropriate 'Before field'. Specifically, I inserted the text 'published on' before the publication date. I use it in various templates and pages of the site and it is essential to be able to translate it.

Symptoms:
When I translate the template, I do not see the text 'published on'.

Questions:
How can I enable the translation of the 'Before field' text in the post info widget?...

I found the solution, perhaps a temporary one, I followed these steps:
I create the template translation
I open the corresponding news page in Italian
I switch to English and open the elementor editor from the English page
insert the English string in the "before field
doing so seems to work even though I do not see the string in the translations
