Background of the issue:
Almost every day we have this error, and then the menus are generated with the wrong language
Sampe: The correct link for menu "a" must be "hidden link" because the current language is English, but the menus are generated as "hidden link", with Italian language in the URL.
I can share the log, but this error contains +47,000 lines

Symptoms:
The menus contains links to random language

Questions:
What is needed change in configuration o how this error can be fixed

Welcome to the WPML support forum. Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to guide you through some initial debugging steps to help speed up the support process.

How long you are facing this issue? Have you migrated the site recently?

Please tries the following troubleshooting steps after a full site backup{mandatory} and make sure the issue is existing or not.

1) Go to WPML>>Support page, click on the Troubleshooting link (blue link in the middle of the page)

2) On the Troubleshooting page, please click on the following options of the *Clean up* section. Wait for confirmation of processing after each one.

- Clear the cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Set language information
- Fix WPML tables collation
- Assign translation status to duplicated content
- Fix terms count
- Fix post type assignment
- Cleanup and optimize string tables

I follow every step, but the error shows again.
Maybe the process you suggest raise the issue, some times.

I hope you're doing well. Sorry for the delay in responding.

I took this ticket and will try my best to assist you in this matter.

Since English is the default language of your site, the menu should always point to the English pages. I checked your site and noticed that the menu items are now correctly linked to the English pages. However, if the issue still occurs intermittently, please clear your site and browser caches and check again.

From the WPML Debug info, I noticed from the WPML Debug info that Object Cache is activated on your site. Could you please temporarily disable object caching and then recheck the menu?
