Background of the issue:
I'm trying to make sure that layout and language settings applied to the English site are being mirrored on the French translated site. The site is currently under development.
Symptoms:
French site disconnected from English site.
Questions:
I'm currently working on a French translation of my website in a staging environment. When I make changes in layout and text on the English website, these changes are being applied to the Swedish translation to my website. However, changes made to the English website are not being mirrored to the French website. An example of this can be seen here: hidden link
Note how text spacing, changes in images and spacing are not being applied. I might have translated this site manually at some point, but I want to be able to make changes to the English site, which then gets reflected on the French (and Swedish) site.
before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.
It looks like you may have missed this step for French: How to Set Theme Options for Languages in Avada. Global styling settings, such as spacing, can be configured separately for each language.
Hello Marcel,
Thank you very mich for your feedback. I have just tried to follow the guide you shared with me. However, the settings from English and Swedish site have still not been applied. Please have a look at this page in different French, English and Swedish, and you will see that the settings haven't been applied: hidden link
I will have to do the layout manially for the French website now unfortunately, as I have to get it live by the end of the day. But I would still very much like to hear how I can sync layouts together for all languages.
