I’m having an issue with WPML translations on my WordPress site and I need your help.
I translated one of my blog posts into German using the WPML Translation Editor. The translation appears as completed (100%), and when I click the pencil icon for German, I can open the translation and see all the translated content correctly.
However, the German post does not appear anywhere in the Posts list.
What I already checked:
* Posts > All Posts
* Filter by German language
* All languages
* Drafts / Published / All statuses
* Search by title
* Search by slug
The translated German post is not visible in the list, even though WPML shows the pencil icon, which suggests the translation exists.
I then created a new manual duplicate of the English post, assigned it to German language, and now I can see that draft in the German posts list. But I cannot connect it to the original English post, because WPML seems to think the original post is already translated into German (probably linked to the hidden/ghost translation).
So at the moment I have:
1. A German translation that exists in WPML editor but does not appear in Posts list.
2. A manual German draft visible in Posts list, but impossible to connect to the original post because the hidden translation already occupies that translation slot.
Could you please help me:
1. Find or restore the missing German translated post in the Posts list
OR
2. Remove/reset the hidden German translation link
OR
3. Correctly connect my manual German post to the original English article
This problem is blocking my multilingual workflow.
