This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

You are trying to use automatic translations in WPML but encounter an issue where the language mapping dropdowns do not display any languages, only showing the option not to map the primary language. The message indicates that none of your content can be automatically translated until you map your default language to a supported language.

Solution:

This problem may stem from a conflict during site migration or could be related to a known issue which can be found here: https://wpml.org/errata/persistent-warning-this-site-has-moved-to-a-new-location/.

We recommend defining the site URLs in the

wp-config.php

file. This code might currently be commented out, so you should uncomment and adjust it as necessary.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems persist, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to use automatic translations in WPML and have been informed that I must choose a language mapping to proceed.

Symptoms:
The drop-downs don't show any languages, just the option to not map the primary language. The window reads: 'None of your content can be automatically translated until you map your default language to a supported language.'

Questions:
Why don't the drop-downs show any languages?
How can I map my default language to a supported language?

Hello,

This issue is most likely caused by a conflict during the site migration or may be related to the following known errata.

https://wpml.org/errata/persistent-warning-this-site-has-moved-to-a-new-location/

We were able to get the expected results after defining the site URLs in the wp-config.php file (the code is currently commented out).

Please review the updates and let us know your feedback. You can also refer to the attached images for more details.
