This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
My website is translated into 2 languages Icelandic (Default) and English.
When searching for my website on google only the English translation of the website shows up in the search results.
How can I fix this problem?
I already tried disabling the browser language redirect
Solution:
I'm afraid that we don't have much control over that.
Please go to WPML -> Languages and make sure the option "Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality" is enabled. At the same time, also try to activate this option, they might help: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/enabling-language-cookie-to-support-ajax-filtering/
