This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with missing images on the French page of their website after using WPML for translation. Additionally, there were concerns about untranslated strings and the status of translations showing as 'In progress' or 'Translation required' despite completion.
Solution:
1. To address the missing images, we advised the client to:
- Switch to the translated categories in WPML and check if the images were missing.
- If missing, manually add the images as they are set up in the original (English) version.
- Verify if the images then appear correctly on the French page.
2. For the issue of untranslated strings and translation status, we recommended:
- Updating the translations manually or sending them for automatic translation via WPML -> Translation Management.

If these steps do not resolve your issues or if the solution seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should these steps not be applicable, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at our support forum for further assistance.

Hi,

I checked your French page at hidden link and it looks like the missing images might be category images.

To help narrow down the issue, could you please check the following:

1. Switch to the translated categories in WPML and verify whether the images are missing there as well.
2. If the images are missing from the translated categories, try manually adding them—just like they are set up in the original (English) version.
3. Once you've added the images, check if they now appear correctly on the French page.

This should help confirm whether the issue is related to missing media assignments in the translated categories. Let us know what you find, and we can assist further if needed.

Hello dear, thank you for your reply.
I checked the product categories according to your method and found that the image numbers are indeed missing. You asked me to add the images one by one, but I want to add them all at once. How should I do this? What are the specific steps?

Last time, a WPML engineer helped me add all the images at once because French, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Arabic, Russian, and Spanish were all missing these images. This seems to be a batch issue or a settings issue. Adding images one by one is too slow, so I want to add them all at once. Thank you.

The image seems to be displayed, but there are still untranslated strings in the translation task. What should I do? Please see the screenshot.

I have several translations to do in my translation task on my site hidden link. I automatically publish translations after completion and do not require a review.

Even after completing 100% of the translation, it still shows 'Translation' or 'In progress' and 'Translation required'.

How should I set translations that are completed but still show 'Translation' or 'In progress'?
Why does it keep showing 'Translation required' even after completing 100% of the translation?

I'm happy to hear that the original issue was solved 🙂

The next issue can be solved by updating the translations manually or sending them for automatic translation via WPML -> Translation Management.

If you need further assistance with this new issue, please open a new ticket, and we will continue from there. That way, we will be following our support policy of solving one issue per ticket.

Thank you very much for your understanding!
