Background of the issue:
I am trying to add an item to my shopping cart. In English, the picture of the item shows up, but in French and Spanish, the picture does not show up. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The picture of the item added to the shopping cart does not show up in French and Spanish, but it does in English.

Questions:
Why does the picture of the item not show up in the shopping cart for French and Spanish?
How can I fix the issue so that the picture shows up in all languages?

Hello,

thanks for contacting us.

It could be that at the time some image optimization plugin caused an issue when creating thumbnails for those images, I see you are using a plugin like: Imagify.

Can you please try installing the plugin Force Regenerate Thumbnails and then force it to regenerate thumbnails for these images?

Please make sure to create a backup, before doing any actions, just in case.

Hello,

there are not specific steps, just need to install plugin and run it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/

Make sure to have a backup.

If you have troubles, sure I will enable private reply and you can share admin credentials and I can take a look 🙂

thanks, I have checked and as I can see this issue also happens in the default language, I did not understand that in your first message. So I have disabled WPML and can see the issue still happening, so this is not related or caused by the WPML plugin.

I advise you to check further with image optimization plugin support and make sure the issue is fixed in the default language / without WPML and re-translate. If you then still have issues in 2nd language let us know and we will be glad to help.

I am checking on EN page: hidden link, but as I have shared above screenshot I see also a product without images. Maybe I am not checking this correctly, can you share steps for the same 1 product example on EN and FR, how can I see it?

thanks, I managed to see it also on backed in Wocommerce product list in the French language, thumbnails are missing.

Can you try to disable Imagefiy and upload a new set of images to the default language product, save and translate, and check if the issue still happens?

Otherwise, let us know if you can provide us staging site so we can debug further this issue, or if I can take a copy so I can safely debug further issue.
