This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with translating their site using WPML, including problems with template assignments, untranslated content, and navigation menu errors.
Solution:
1. We identified that the FSE Templates were translatable via WPML->Translation Management->Templates but were not assigned correctly to the translations. We updated the page and its translation to use the correct templates.
2. For the navigation menus and other untranslated content, we manually adjusted the translations and ensured they were approved in WPML's translation management system.
3. We also addressed specific issues like hardcoded URLs in menus and missing translations by manually editing them and resending for translation.
4. Unnecessary plugins were deactivated to improve site performance.
5. We provided video tutorials to guide the client through the steps for future reference.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hi there, Typically the way you would add translation would be just go to WPML->Translation Mangement and sent for translation or assign to yourself for transltaion. OR you can go from pages / posts and click on "+" to add the translation. 1. Contact page I manually edited the item via WP Editor -- it was hard to do because of the white font on the white background. 2. Industries I went to Pages -> edit the industries page -> click on update -> updated the translation and now it looks OK. 3. homepage The homepage attribute from WordPress is not assigned to the translated version. I have resolved this now and it's showing OK. 4. services - menu issue I went to WPML->Translation Management->Selected the navigation items and resend for translation, this seems to have done the trick. Also the following plugins are not needed on your environment, I have deactivated them as that will increase performance. Gravity Forms Multilingual BuddyPress Multilingual |

Thank you for updating me! if possible please update my access link as it's no longer working. Also, for the content in the form you should be able to edit it and remove the space if needed, those adjustments can be done in the WP editor i believe it's just hard to see because it's white on white. I have re enabled a private field reply |

Thank you for updating the access! The following plugins are not needed for WPML to work and since you are not using them I have also deactivated them and it's safe for you to delete. Toolset ------------------------- I also deactivated WPML main plugin temporarily to see if that is what is causing the menu load issue and it's still happening even without WPML. I would test with deactivating any caching mechanisms as it looks like the CSS does not trigger right away. -------------------------- 1. For industries --> The string "Industries we support" is used on the English version so it's correctly translated, however, if you examine the EN version you can't find this string there either. This is part of the template, therefore you will need to edit that in the template and not the page 2. For the contact form --- when I examine the HTML in the front end there is a <br> tag which does not exist in the EN version it's nearly impossible to edit this content with the white background so I am checking the code editor instead and I found the BR tag encoded "there is a <br> tag in this code — but it's encoded as \u003cbr\u003e, which is the Unicode escape for <br>" I have removed it and it should be resolved now. 3. The navigation menus -- the URL is also hardcoded to use the EN version which is why this problem is happening when you use the AR version of the menu. I resent them to translation via WPML->Translation Management->Assigned to me and manually adjusted the URL. NOTE: The EN version is also wrong which will keep causing redirect hits. /services/ to /drone-services/ It is fixed now. |

Hi there, 1. please navigate to the FSE editor and the template is located there, then you can also go to WPML->translation management and from there send that template part for translation. 2. You will need to translate those manually, the one is translated because I had done it manually earlier when we reviewed it. 3. For those spaces please make sure you are using the HTML editor to review the HTML and see if there are any extra spaces possibly? Let me know your results, please. Regarding the new issue with the blogs if possible please open a new thread as we do try to keep each ticket to one issue. |

1. The FSE is the Full Site Editor , this is what has been used to create these templates. You can locate them by going to Appearance->Editor -> Industries In order to edit the translation you can locate it in WPML->Translation Management-> Templates -> Industries. See screen cast: hidden link 2. It is tough to see the content, however you can see in the following loom video how I was able to manually update the content via WPML translation editor. |

Thank you for updating me! The Full Site Editor items are a bit different, so to translate you will need to do it via the Translation management. 1. Go to WPML -> Translation management Also, my access has expired, you can use the previous private reply to update the link if needed. Let me know your results, please. |
