This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the shop link does not point to the correct URL for each language on their multilingual site. The shop link defaults to the original Romanian translation instead of the expected URL.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to ensure the shop link points to the correct URL for each language:
1. Check Store URLs:
- Navigate to WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual > Store URLs.
- Check the Romanian translation of the Shop page slug.
- Click the "Pencil" icon and update the slug to your desired value (e.g., "shop").
- Save the changes.
2. Verify the Shop Page Slug:
- Go to Pages > All Pages in the Admin Dashboard.
- Use the language switcher in the top bar to switch to the Romanian language.
- Find the Shop page and click "Quick Edit" below the page name.
- In the edit window, ensure the slug is correctly set to "shop."
After implementing these steps, the shop page URL should display as expected.
