I have our website localised into 5 different languages – English, Danish, French, German, and Finnish.
I have recently added both Finnish & Danish, all pages have been translated.
The problem is that from the English homepage only French & German show up in the language switcher.
I can however go onto a different page, use the language switcher to go into Finnish, and then navigate to the home page. When I do this, the language switcher shows the other languages horizontally on the menu rather than in a list.
I only seem to have this problem with the homepage.

I hope this makes sense and that you can find a solution!
This seems to have fixed itself now! The screenshots I posted were in an incognito tab, looks like there was a delay of a couple of days for it to sync onto the homepage menu.
I am also having trouble with French translations not automatically publishing. It has translated 31/76 of my pages and the rest are pending review, however, when I try to review a translation nothing happens.
If you would like to change that setting you can go to WPML->Settings->Automatic translation and set it to Publish right away without reviewing OR
Publish right away but mark as not reviewed so I can take a look later
this will go in effect with any new translations.
To review the existing ones, try this:
1. Go to WPML->Translation Management->Translators
2. add yourself as a transaltor and assign all pairs (typically you should be a translation manager automatically but do this try this please)
3. go to WPML->Translations and click on review
Does the issue persist?
if it does right click -> inspect -> view console tab and share with me any error in the console.
The topic ‘[Closed] Home page/Menu/Language Switcher’ is closed to new replies.
