[Resolved] Houzez Theme translated property are not displayed on the agency page
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to display properties on the agency page in French, despite having translated the properties and assigned them to the French agent and agency. The issue was that the properties were not showing under 'Annonces' on the translated agency page. Solution: We recommended the client to first ensure that the property is translated into all required languages and that the same agency is set for all these languages. After further investigation, we discovered that the agency was incorrectly set to English for all languages. We corrected this by updating the agency title with the language code in all languages, reassigning the agency for the agent in each language, and then removing the language code from the agency title. This resolved the issue, and the properties should now display correctly under the respective agency in all languages.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to display all of the French agent's properties on the agency page in French. In the default language (English), it works perfectly. I tried to assign the French agent to the French agency using French agent ID and French agency ID. I asked Houzez to solve the problem but was told to contact you. Here is the link to the page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
No property is displayed under 'Annonces' on the translated page in French, even though I translated the property into French and assigned it to the French agent.
Questions:
Why is the translated property not displayed on the agency page in French?
Is there a specific setting in WPML that I need to adjust to make this work?
I now have translated the property into all languages. Without success. The problem is that I cannot assign the agent (FR, IT, DE) to the agency (FR, IT, DE).
Of course, I have translated the agent and agency and property into FR, IT, DE. And I have correctly assigned the property to the agent in FR, IT, DE. But the agent is simply not assigned to the agency in FR, IT, DE.
This describes how the Agent ID and Agency ID work. Everything was done according to the instructions: hidden link
I reported the problem to Houzez, and after a few days of waiting time I was told to contact WPML and they would contact Houzez if that didn't work. I can send you access to wp-admin.
Thank you for the access, I was able to check the website.
It was needed to set the agency for the property on the tab as shown in the attached image, I did that for all the languages by switching language from the wp-admin top bar.
Please check if it's working on your end and try testing with another property if the issue persists.
Unfortunately, that is not the solution. Now the property is not displayed on the agent page. It has to be displayed on the agent page and also on the agency page. If you go to the English version you will see the property on the agent side (because the property is assigned to the agent) and also the property on the agency side. Because the agent works for the agency. This is how it works in the default English version. Therefore you have to connect the agent to the agency. But apparently, there is a problem with Houzez with the translated versions.
Yes of course you can create an agent, agency, etc. The site is not live yet. I think the problem is the agency "Property Concept Monaco".
I have created a new test agency and new test agents. And connected these agents to the agency. It works:
test agency EN: hidden link
test agent EN: hidden link
test agency DE: hidden link
test agent DE: hidden link
If we can't find a solution for the agency "Property Concept Monaco" then I just have to delete the agency "Property Concept Monaco" and also the attached agents, right?
Question: Have I set it up correctly so that WMPL also deletes the files in the background? Because that's exactly what I wanted to avoid.
By the way, here is the link to how to attach an agent: hidden link
ok done: Please could you clear the cache on the server-side and disable the cache plugin?
I've checked further and tested by changing the title of the agency "Property Concept Monaco" by adding the language code in all the languages and after I re-set the agency for the agent "Salima De Millo" in each language (for some reason the agency was set to the English for all the languages).
I've set the correct agency and then removed the language code to the agency title for all the languages. Now it should be showing correctly.
